Welcome to MusiCalendars. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MusiCalendars website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by MusiCalendars ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
MusiCalendars provides customized digital rehearsal calendars for K-12 school theater productions. The Service allows:
No account is required to download calendars. Cast members access the Service using an access code provided by their school or production staff. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent, guardian, or school staff member before using the Service.
Administrator access requires authentication through Google Sign-In. By creating or using an administrator account, you represent that you are authorized by your school or organization to manage production data on its behalf. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing and distributing school theater rehearsal calendars. You agree not to:

When the Service is used by a school, we acknowledge that student information may constitute education records under FERPA. In this context, MusiCalendars functions as a school official with a legitimate educational interest. We will:

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by MusiCalendars and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service (production details, cast lists, schedules, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
MusiCalendars does not provide or license theatrical works. Schools are responsible for obtaining their own performance licenses from the appropriate licensing organizations. Any show titles, character names, or scene descriptions entered into the Service are the property of their respective rights holders.
Calendar files (ICS and PDF) generated by the Service are provided for the personal scheduling use of cast members and production staff. Generated files are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted after 90 days. We do not guarantee the permanent availability of any generated file.
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss that may occur.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CALENDAR FILES WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
It is the responsibility of production staff to verify that generated calendars accurately reflect their intended rehearsal schedule.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSICALENDARS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED REHEARSALS, SCHEDULING CONFLICTS, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MusiCalendars from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Schools may request deletion of their data and termination of their account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitations of liability and indemnification) will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which MusiCalendars operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
